Redshirt freshman RB runs wild
Mario Fannin made plenty of impressive moves in Wednesday's scrimmage.
But his best change of direction might have come the day before.
Fannin spent part of Tuesday in the training room, getting treatment on a seriously bruised shoulder. Coaches weren't sure if the redshirt freshman tailback would participate Wednesday.
But he decided to tough it out.
"I just came out here and said, 'I might as well finish spring,'" Fannin said. "I worked hard for all these other days, so I'll just go out and work hard one more day."
Fannin ran for 206 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries Wednesday, playing mostly behind the second-team offensive line.
